Each applicant MUST:
1. Be a tithing member in good standing with at least three (3) consecutive months in attendance in the New Partner's Training Class.
2. Meet the standards which deal with character issues such as marital status, smoking, drinking, drug abuse, spousal/child abuse (physical, sexual, verbal or emotional), illicit sexual activity (fornication, adultery, homosexuality, masturbation, pornography, etc). If the applicant has participated in any such activities in the past, and has not had victory over it/them for at least six (6) months, we ask that the applicant not apply at this time. Applicants may reapply after having walked in victory for six (6) months.
3. Show proof of a valid Alaska driver’s license and automobile liability insurance coverage IF applying to serve in an area of Ministry that requires driving.
4. Be in agreement with the Pastor’s vision (as stated below):
The primary purpose of this Ministry is to teach the uncompromising Word of God and to proclaim the “Good News” of Jesus Christ. My aim remains to minister by precept and example, teaching the Body of Christ to walk in victory and to adapt a lifestyle that is beyond reproach.
The vision that God has given me is to, first, teach and develop “Embassy Christian Center” church family so that they will be able to teach others by precept and example. Secondly, God has given me a specific area, and plans to provide spiritual, social and economical structure for that area in order to meet the needs of the whole man. I Corinthians 12 states, “Now the body is not made up of one part, but many…As it is, there are many parts but one body”. As Pastor of this ministry, God has made me the head, but the head is ineffective without the hands, the feet, the legs, the arms, etc. Everyone is important in bringing the goals, objectives and vision to past.
