Pastor Jones acknowledged his call to ministry and began working in Youth Ministry in 1986 while submitted to Bishop Henry Hearns at First Missionary Baptist Church (now Living Stone Cathedral), Littlerock, CA. He married First Lady Princella in 1987, collaborated to reach the teens and families in the Antelope Valley. They established outreach events to reach the un-churched, untaught, lost, and uncommitted. This included music, drama/theater, educational excellence, and retreats to the mountains of California. Of note was a play written by Dr. Jones entitled "The Problem With Teenagers". This unique production invited parents and teens to swap roles - teens as parents; parents as teens. The Spirit of the Lord moved to unite and reconcile families to one another in love.  Pastor Jones came to Anchorage during his final assignment while serving in the U.S. Air Force. 

Ambassadors for Christ Ministries, Inc. (AFCM) dba Embassy Christian Center (ECC) was birthed out of a vision God gave James and Princella according to 2 Corinthians 5:20, as they prepared to move from the Mojave Desert to the Last Frontier. Their faith in the Word has been strengthened through the Fellowship if International Word of Faith Ministries (FICWFM) and the Fellowship established by Apostle Frederick K.C. Price, and Apostle Michael Freeman, respectfully.
