OUR MISSION

We are committed to loving, serving, encouraging and impacting generation through faith and excellence.

Our mission is to empower individuals to reach their full potential and fulfill their God-given assignment, one life at a time.

OUR VISION

To minister the Word of God without compromise to the nations, proclaiming the truth of God's Word and advancing His Kingdom.

To act as a turning point (JOINT) in the Body of Christ, and labor through the Word to bring others into harmony with God.

To demonstrate the excellence of God's Kingdom throughout the world, both in word and deed, while faithfully representing Jesus Christ as His ambassadors.

Our Scriptural Foundation

"Now then, we are Ambassadors for Christ, as through God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

                                         2 CORINTHIANS 5:20 NKJV

Our Ministry Story

A Journey of Faith, Service, and Divine Purpose

The story of Embassy Christian Center is rooted in faith, obedience, and a commitment to serving God's people.

In 1986 Pastor James Jones answered the call to ministry, beginning his service in Youth Ministry under the leadership of Bishop Henry Hearns at First Missionary Baptist Church, now known as Living Stone Cathedral, in Littlerock, California.

In 1987, Pastor Jones married First Lady Princella.

Together, they embraced a shared passion for reaching young people, strengthening families, and helping individuals discrover their God-given purpose.

Their ministry journey began with outreach throughout California's Antelope Valley, where they organized programs incorporating music, drama, education, and family retreats.

One memorable outreach was a theatrical production written by Pastor Jones entitled The Problem With Teenagers. This production encouraged understanding between parents and teenagers by allowing them to exchange roles, helping families develop compassion, communication, and unity.

Through these efforts, lives were changed, relationships were strengthened, and families experienced the reconciling love of God.

The Birth of Embassy

Christian Center - 1996

While serving in the United States Air Force, Pastor Jones received his final military assignment to Eagle River, Alaska.

In 1996, Embassy Christian Center was established in Eagle River, Alaska, through the vision God placed in the hearts of Pastor James and First Lady Princella Jones.

Ambassadors for Christ Ministries, Inc. (AFCM), doing business as Embassy Christian Center (ECC), was established with a commitment to ministering the uncompromised Word of God, strenghtening families, and equipping believers to fulfill their God-given assignments.

Founded upon the scriptural foundation of 2 Corinthians 5:20, the ministry embraced its calling to represent Jesus Christ and bring others into harmony with God.

Our Journey Continues

Since 1996, Embassy Christian Center has remained committed to loving, serving, and empowering people through faith and excellence.

We continue to fulfill our vision of serving as a turning point (JOINT)"

within the Body of Christ, laboring through God's Word to bring others into harmony with Him.

As we move forward, our commitment remains steadfast: to proclaim the Gospel, strengthen families, impact generations, and faithfully represent Jesus Christ.

What We Beleive

Our Foundation of Faith

At Embassy Christian Center, our faith is firmly established upon the Word of God.  We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word and the foundation for Christian faith, spiritual growth, and victorious living.

1. The Triune God - We believe in one eternal God, revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

     Scriptures: Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14

2. The Need for Salvation - We believe that all humanity has sinned and fallen short of God's glory and is

in need of salvation through Jesus the Christ.

   Scriptures: Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23

3. Salvation through Jesus the Christ - We believe salvation has been provided through the death and resurrection of Jesus the Christ and is received by grace through faith in Him.

   Scriptures: John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10

4. The Ministry of the Holy Spirit - We believe it is God's will for every believer to be filled with the Holy Spirit and empowered to live a victorious Christian life.

     Scriptures: Ephesians 5:18; Acts 1:8

5.  The Baptism with the Holy Spirit - We believe in the baptism with the Holy Spirit, with evidence of speaking in other tongues, as demonstrated in the Book of Acts, and available to believers who ask and receive.

   Scriptures: Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:6

6. Divine Healing - We believe divine healing is provided through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ and that believers can approach God in faith for healing.

   Scriptures: Isaiah 53:4-5: Matthew 8:16-17: James 5:14-15

7. The New Birth - We believe regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for personal salvation. Through faith in Jesus Christ, believers are born again and become new creations in Him.

    Scriptures: John 3:3-7; Titus 3:5; 2 Corinthians 5:17

8.  The Return of Jesus Christ - We believe in the personal, visible, return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

      Scriptures: Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

9.  Water Baptism and Holy Communion - We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and in observing the Lord's Supper in rememberance of His sacrifice.

    Scriptures: Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3-4; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

10.  The Resurrection and Eternal Destiny - We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved unto everlasting life and the lost unto everlasting judgment.

   Scriptures: John 5:28-29; Daniel 12:2; Revelation 20:12-15

11.  Sanctification and Holy Living -  We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, whose indwelling presence enables believers to grow spiritually and live holy lives that honor God.

   Scriptures: 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4; Galatians 5:16-25; 1 Peter 1:15-16
